Chinese films, full-length first

The Chinese room gathers films with Chinese performers from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the diaspora. Much of it comes from independent creators and couples, alongside a few studios that have built a strong following abroad. Styles range from soft and romantic to bold and theatrical, and many productions borrow from film and drama. We programme this room for complete scenes and clear picture first, sorted by viewer ratings. It is a good place to explore if the general Asian room feels too broad, and the search understands names if you are looking for someone specific.
